Welcome!

 I want to welcome you to Northeast Elementary! I love teaching. I wanted to be a teacher since I was eight years old! I graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. During my teaching career, I have taught at Union, Putnam City and Westminster School in Oklahoma City before coming to Owasso.  In addition to teaching kindergarten, I have taught developmental first, first and second grade.

I am married to an incredible man named Chris. We met when we were eleven years old. We have been married for twenty- six years. We have two wonderful daughters. Lauren is in college. Allison is a Junior in High School. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and scrap booking. But, my favorite thing to do is spend time in the kitchen cooking! 

I look forward to many fun and educational classroom adventures with your child. I feel honored to have this special opportunity to be your child's kindergarten teacher.
