Dear Parents,

Welcome back to school at Northeast Elementary!  I am so excited to be starting a new school year and very glad to be your child’s teacher.

I grew up in Owasso and graduated from Owasso High in 1986.  I attended college at Northeastern State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have been blessed to get to teach in the Owasso Public School district for 14 years!  I have been married to my husband Michael for 31 years.  He is also a 1986 Owasso graduate and is a Captain at the Collinsville Fire Dept.  We have two daughters, Hannah and Olivia.  Hannah is a Dental Hygienist in Tulsa and Olivia is 15 years old and is a Sophomore this year. We also have two granddaughters, Rivir (age 9) and Rhythm (age 4).

These first few days we will be getting to know one another and doing many fun activities.  We will also be learning classroom procedures and developing our routine.  Your child may bring a water bottle and a healthy snack to school as long as the bottle has a sports top on it to prevent spills.  Please fill the bottle with water only as we all need to drink more water and if spilled, it will not leave a big mess.

I look forward to meeting with you during the parent meeting on .    I am here to work with you and your child so that he/she will have an optimum learning environment.  If you have any questions, or need to share something about your child, please feel free to contact me.  You can send an email to [email protected] or you may call the office and leave a message.  I will do my best to return your call during my planning period or after school.  We are partners in the education of your child and I am looking forward to a great year!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Amber Percival
